President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed a decree on the imposition of sanctions against Tymur Mindich and Oleksandr Tsukerman, defendants in the Energoatom corruption scheme case. According to the decree, both are citizens of Israel.
This was reported by the Office of the President.
Thus, the decree puts into effect the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine dated November 13 "On the Application of Personal Special Economic and Other Restrictive Measures (Sanctions)".
According to the Decree, Mindich and Tsukerman are citizens of Israel. 18 types of restrictive measures have been applied against businessman, co-owner of the Kvartal 95 studio Mindich and financier and businessman Oleksandr Tsukerman.

As a reminder, on November 10, the National Anti-Corruption Burea of Ukraine (NABU) detectives came to search the homes of businessman and co-owner of the Kvartal 95 studio, Tymur Mindich, Minister of Justice Herman Halushchenko, and Energoatom.
The National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) announced that they were conducting a large-scale operation to expose corruption in the energy sector.
Tsukerman, suspected of involvement in the corruption scheme at Energoatom, denied all charges.
And the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine stated that Mindich had registered his departure from Ukraine in accordance with the norms of current legislation and left the country on legal grounds.
Meanwhile, NABU has announced suspicion against former Vice Prime Minister Oleksii Chernyshov in the case of illegal enrichment and participation in a corruption scheme in the energy sector.
The High Anti-Corruption Court also chose a preventive measure for Lesia Ustymenko and Ihor Fursenko, who are suspected of involvement in a large-scale corruption scheme to embezzle funds from the state-owned company Energoatom.
Earlier, the High Anti-Corruption Court remanded two more defendants in custody in the case - Ihor Myroniuk, for whom bail was set at UAH 126 million, and the executive director for security at Energoatom, Dmytro Basov (Tenor), with bail of UAH 40 million.
Energy Minister Svitlana Hrynchuk wrote a letter of resignation and also stated that speculation on her personal relationship was inappropriate - this is about Herman Halushchenko.
Halushchenko, in turn, who was suspended from his duties as Minister of Justice on November 12, made his first public statement after the NABU exposed large-scale corruption in the energy sector.
