The incident occurred last Friday, after which a telephone conversation took place between the heads of the defense departments of the two countries.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on September 19, three MiG-31 fighters of the russian army violated Estonian airspace. They were 12 in the sky over the country, approaching the capital.
Italian F-35 fighters were raised into the sky. They intercepted the russian planes and forced them to leave Estonian airspace.
Two russian fighters also made a dangerous maneuver near the oil and gas platform of the Polish company Petrobaltic in the Baltic Sea.
On September 13, Romania was forced to scramble fighter jets after a russian drone flew into the country's airspace.
