US President Donald Trump said that the aggressor country of russia is suffering much greater losses in manpower than Ukraine. Therefore, he is supposedly obliged to resolve the conflict.
Trump said this at a joint press conference with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
According to him, russian dictator vladimir putin is killing a lot of people and losing more people than he is killing.
"Frankly, russian soldiers are dying more often than Ukrainian ones," Trump said.
He added that as a result of russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, "millions of people have been killed." Soldiers are dying at a rate that no one has seen since World War II.
Trump also said that during a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the White House, he suggested that the russian-Ukrainian war could escalate into World War III.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on September 17, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Oleksandr Syrskyi, stated that since the beginning of the year, the losses of the russian army amounted to more than 305,000 people.
Recall, on August 1, US President Trump named the losses of Ukraine and russia since the beginning of the year. According to him, the Ukrainian army lost 14 times fewer people.
