Since the beginning of 2025, the Ukrainian troops have inflicted large-scale losses on russia in manpower and equipment. This was reported by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, on his Telegram channel.
According to him, in eight and a half months of this year, the Defense Forces have eliminated over 305,000 russian servicemen. "The Defense Forces of Ukraine are destroying the enemy: since the beginning of the year, more than 305,000 occupiers (305,630) have been neutralized," Syrskyi noted.
In addition, the Ukrainian army has disabled almost 30,000 units of the enemy's automotive equipment, which significantly complicated its supply and movement. "At the same time, we are also destroying enemy logistics: in 2025, 29,095 units of automotive equipment have already been hit. Thanks to the soldiers for their professional combat work. The fight continues. Glory to Ukraine!" the Commander-in-Chief added.
He also published a video from the fighting, which recorded the destruction of russian soldiers and equipment. Syrskyi stressed that the high rates of russian losses confirm the professionalism of Ukrainian units and the coordination of their actions at the front.
Recall, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have already thwarted three large-scale offensive operations of the russian army, but the Kremlin has not abandoned its plans and is preparing two more.
