US President Donald Trump said that since the beginning of 2025, the armies of the aggressor country russia and Ukraine have lost 120,000 people killed. The losses of the Ukrainian army are about 8,000 people.
Trump wrote about this on his page on the social network Truth Social.
According to him, he was just informed that in July the russian army lost almost 20,000 soldiers killed in Ukraine.
"Russia has lost 112,500 soldiers since the beginning of the year. That is a lot of unnecessary DEATH," Trump added.
The US President also said that since the beginning of the year, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have lost 8,000 people killed. He noted that this number does not include missing persons.
In addition, Ukraine has lost civilians as a result of russian air strikes.
Trump reiterated again that the russian-Ukrainian war should not have started.
