Yesterday, Romania raised combat aircraft due to a drone of the aggressor country russia, which entered the country's territory by about 10 kilometers and was in the airspace of a NATO country for about 50 minutes. The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this on Saturday, September 13.
Zelenskyy noted that the russian drone was in the airspace of the NATO member country Romania for 50 minutes. Poland also raised military aircraft due to the threat of russian drones. Russian drones appeared in various regions of Ukraine during the day. According to the President, russian drones entered the direction of Volyn from the territory of Belarus.
"The Russian military understands exactly where their drones are directed, how long they can stay in the air. The routes are always calculated. This cannot be an accident, a mistake, or the act of some lower-level commanders. This is an obvious expansion of the war by Russia, and this is exactly what they are doing. Small steps at first, but in the end, big losses," Zelenskyy emphasized.
In his opinion, the partners do not need to wait for russian Shaheds and ballistics, but to act preventively and decisively now - to introduce sanctions, tariffs against trade, and create a protection system that Ukraine has proposed.
