President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has noted that with the presence of US President's Special Envoy Keith Kellogg in Kyiv, the aggressor country russia does not launch massive strikes. The head of state stated this at the annual meeting of the Yalta European Strategy (YES) on Friday, September 12.
Zelenskyy expressed special gratitude to General Kellogg.
"Indeed, we did not know this before, but it turned out that the United States has air defense no worse than Patriot. They say that when you are here, when you are in Kyiv, Keith Kellogg, Kyiv residents can definitely get some sleep. I wish you would travel to all the cities of Ukraine," the President said.
According to him, Ukraine needs more such air defense systems.
"This is actually not a joke. When President Trump's Envoy is in Kyiv, there are no massive strikes. Killers refrain from killing. It doesn't work with representatives of other states," Zelenskyy stressed.
The President also noted that he is ready to provide General Kellogg with citizenship, an apartment, and everything he needs if this encourages russia to cease fire.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on September 11, US President's Special Envoy Keith Kellogg arrived in Kyiv on an official visit.
After Kellogg's arrival in Kyiv, the aggressor country russia did not launch a single drone at Kyiv.
