The death toll from the massive combined russian attack on the night of September 7 has increased in Kyiv, the body of a third victim has been recovered from the rubble.
The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko, reported this on Telegram.
"Unfortunately, information about the third victim of the enemy strike on the night of September 7 has been confirmed. My sincere condolences to the families," he wrote on Telegram.
He also earlier reported that according to information as of the evening, as a result of the russian attack on Kyiv on the night of September 7, 2 people died and 20 were injured to varying degrees. Work to eliminate the consequences of the enemy attack in Kyiv on the night of Sunday will continue on Monday morning.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of Sunday, September 7, (from 5 p.m. on September 6), the russian occupiers launched a combined strike on the territory of Ukraine using strike UAVs and ground-based missiles. In total, during the strike, the Air Forces radio-technical troops detected and escorted 818 air attack vehicles.
In two districts of Kyiv, houses were destroyed due to the night attack, and fires broke out at the site of the strikes.
In addition, it was reported that due to the massive russian missile and drone attack in Kyiv, the Cabinet of Ministers building in the Pecherskyi District caught fire, and the fire spread to the upper floors. Aviation was involved in extinguishing the fire.
