A one-year-old child was injured in the russian attack on the Zaporizhzhia Region. The head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, reported this on his Telegram channel.
According to the head of the Regional Military Administration, the enemy launched 4 strikes on the village of Malokaterynivka. It hit a residential area. Several private houses were on fire. The blast wave also damaged nearby houses and outbuildings.
"A 1-year-old boy was injured. Medics provided the child with all the necessary assistance," Fedorov said.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the morning of August 18, the russian occupiers attacked Zaporizhzhia with missiles, initially of the Iskander type. The enemy struck a shopping mall and a critical infrastructure facility.
According to the Regional Military Administration, the strike set shops and a bus stop ablaze, and damaged a minibus, residential buildings, and a workshop at one of the city's enterprises.
Also, in the Zaporizhzhia Region, an air alert was in place for more than 16 hours on July 15 due to an attack by russian strike drones.
