On the morning of August 18, russian occupiers attacked Zaporizhzhia with missiles, initially with Iskander missiles. The enemy struck a shopping mall and a critical infrastructure facility.

"Today morning at 09:05 am and 09:10 am, russian troops launched two strikes (previously with Iskander missiles) on the territory of the regional center. The missiles hit a shopping mall and a critical infrastructure facility," the report says.

As a result of the attack, 17 citizens received injuries of varying severity. Police and rescuers pulled one of the victims with multiple burns from the abyss that formed as a result of the explosion, and paramedics are trying to resuscitate him.
The police reported that as a result of the strikes, a public transport stop and shops were set on fire, a minibus, nearby houses and a workshop of an enterprise were damaged.
Police, employees of the State Emergency Service and specialized city services continue to work at the sites of enemy strikes.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, according to the Regional Military Administration, as a result of the strike on Zaporizhzhia, shops and a bus stop were set on fire, a minibus, residential buildings and a workshop of one of the city's enterprises were damaged.
In addition, emergency and rescue operations are ongoing in Kharkiv after a night attack by russian Geran-2 kamikaze drones. Four drones hit a five-story residential building in the Industrialnyi district of the city, causing structural collapse and a fire.
Also, on the night of August 18, the army of the aggressor state of russia attacked the Odesa Region with drones. A fire broke out at a fuel and energy infrastructure facility in the suburbs of Odesa.
