On Monday, August 18, the russian occupiers struck Zaporizhzhia twice. As a result of the attack, there are casualties and damage. The head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, reported this on his Telegram channel.
"As a result of another enemy strike on Zaporizhzhia, shops and a bus stop were set on fire, a minibus, residential buildings and a workshop of one of the city's enterprises were damaged," he said.

Fedorov added that the explosion caused a sinkhole. Police and rescuers pulled a person with burns from it. Medics are currently fighting for the victim's life.
In total, 17 people are known to have been injured in the shelling.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, emergency and rescue operations are underway in Kharkiv after a night attack by russian Geran-2 kamikaze drones. Four drones hit a five-story residential building in the city's Industrialnyi district, causing structural collapse and a fire.
