British Foreign Secretary David Lammy said that the country summoned the russian ambassador over the russian attack on Kyiv on the night of August 28.

"Putin's strikes last night killed civilians, destroyed homes and damaged buildings, including the British Council and EU Delegation in Kyiv. We have summoned the Russian Ambassador. The killing and destruction must stop," Lammy stressed.
The BBC reports that the russian ambassador to the United Kingdom, Andrey Kalin, arrived at the Foreign Office in London. He was seen getting out of his car in Westminster (the government district near Buckingham Palace).
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of August 28, russian invaders launched a massive combined strike on Kyiv. Significant damage was recorded in 7 districts of the city.
