US experts are carefully studying the experience of combat use of drones in Ukraine and called it a completely new form of warfare. US President Donald Trump announced this during a meeting with South Korean President Lee Jae Myung, the Clash Report Telegram channel reports.
"There has not been a war like this since the second World War. This is the biggest thing that's happened in terms of warfare wars. It's a whole new form of fighting. It's a drone fighting. It's a drone war. A drone war never existed before, and we're actually studying it, from the standpoint of Pete Hegseth and everybody. We're studying it and studying it very carefully," said Trump.
He also stated that this is a completely new form of warfare.
"But it's a violent war," he concluded.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in July Zelenskyy discussed with the US President's Special Envoy Kellogg the path to peace, strengthening air defense and joint production of drones.
Ukraine and the UK are launching a new initiative to jointly produce drones, with the UK funding the purchase of Ukrainian drones to be manufactured in the UK for the first three years.
In early June, the UK said it was stepping up its support for Ukraine, aiming to increase production and purchases of drones for delivery to Ukraine tenfold this year.
