India has become the largest supplier of diesel fuel to Ukraine. In July, Indian companies supplied 15.5% of the monthly supply base.
The specialized portal "NaftoRynok" reported this last Thursday, August 21.
"The average daily volume of imports of Indian diesel fuel in July amounted to about 2,700 tons <...> This is one of the highest indicators of 2025," the portal writes.
It is emphasized that in the period from January to July of this year, India's share in the structure of diesel supplies reached 10.2%. This is more than five times higher than in the same period in 2024.
The portal published an infographic showing that after India, the largest suppliers of diesel fuel in July were Slovakia (15%), Greece (13.5%), Turkey (12.4%) and Lithuania (11.4%). The remaining 32.2% are from other countries.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on August 6 of this year, US President Donald Trump signed a decree imposing 25% duties against India due to its purchase of a large amount of russian oil.
Shortly before that, Trump stated that India does not care how many people die in Ukraine at the hands of russian invaders. The country continues to purchase large volumes of oil from the russian federation, financing its military machine.
Recall that Trump's decree on a 25% duty applies not only to India. It can be extended to any state that imports russian oil.
