Port of Olya on Caspian Sea, attacked by AFU, has not been able to resume operations for week - media

The port of Olya in the Astrakhan Oblast of the aggressor country of russia still remains paralyzed after the strike by Ukrainian drones on the night of August 15. The russian federation receives weapons from Iran through this port.

The russian Telegram channel "VChK-OGPU" reported this, citing its own sources.

It is alleged that despite the deliberate underestimation of the significance of the port's status and the statement about the successful repelling of the UAV attack, the operation of the facility has been paralyzed for a week.

The channel writes that the drones not only led to the sinking of a ship carrying components for Shahed drones, but also destroyed the sea customs and the port's infrastructure.

"The footage of the sunken huge dry cargo ship in the canal <...> is far from all the damage from the attack. To this day, logistics from Iran and Turkey are paralyzed, many ships are standing in the roadstead. The ships are both stading for loading and unloading, but cannot pass," the report says.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of August 15, the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck the port of Olya on the Caspian Sea. As a result of the strike, the ship "Port Olya 4" received critical damage and sank.

Recall that yesterday, August 21, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the Ukrainian military struck an oil products plant in the Rostov Oblast.

We also wrote that on the night of August 20, an explosion thundered in Poland after the fall of an unknown object. Later it turned out that it was a russian Shahed.
