Drones massively attack important railway junction in russia in Voronezh Oblast

On the night of August 17, the Voronezh Oblast of russia was massively attacked by drones, the Liski railway station - one of the largest railway junctions of the South-Eastern Railway of the russian federation - was hit. This is reported by russian Telegram channels.

At the same time, an air alert was declared in the Voronezh Oblast.

"Six explosions over Liski - residents of the Voronezh Oblast reported blasts and the noise of drones at around 2:40 a.m. In total, they heard at least six drones flying over. A siren is sounding in the city. A little earlier, in the Podgorensky District, eyewitnesses noticed three drones flying one after the other. The Ostrogozhsky and Liskinsky Districts have been put on alert. Warning systems are working, people are asked to go indoors, stay away from windows and immediately call 112 if a drone appears," the Mash Telegram channel said in a message.

The governor of the region, Aleksandr Gusev, stated on his social networks that several drones were allegedly shot down over the Ostrogozhsky and Liskinsky Districts.

"The air defense forces on duty and electronic warfare equipment in the east of the region and over Voronezh have already detected, suppressed and destroyed several unmanned aerial vehicles," the report says.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the leadership of the Security Service of Ukraine informed that its drones had hit the Shahed storage airfield in Primorsko-Akhtarsk and the Elektropribor military plant.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces have successfully struck verified targets of the aggressor state of russia, which are involved in ensuring armed aggression against Ukraine. In particular, the Afipsky oil refinery in the Krasnodar Krai was hit.
