Ukraine names points by which negotiations in Alaska will be evaluated

Ukraine will evaluate the results of the meeting in Alaska according to three criteria. This was reported by Mykhailo Podoliak, an advisor to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, on his Telegram channel on Friday, August 15.

Podoliak emphasized that there should be no exchanges of territories and special statuses for occupied regions. According to him, politics can begin only after a ceasefire.

Ukraine will evaluate the results of the meeting in Anchorage according to three criteria:

  1. Immediate unconditional and complete ceasefire.
  2. Principles for the further peace process agreed with Ukraine and Europe - without Moscow's veto. In particular, a real tripartite format for negotiations.
  3. A clear signal to all other countries - recipients of russian resources: supporting the war means isolation and loss of markets. Sanctions.

"It is obvious that President Trump wants to leave Alaska as a peacemaker, not an extra in someone else's (read - russian) scenario. This is possible only when the first point on the ceasefire is fulfilled literally in hours. Otherwise, tough pressure tools should be automatically activated," Podoliak wrote.
