White House releases schedule for Trump-putin summit in Anchorage: when meeting will begin

The tentative schedule for the meeting between US President Donald Trump and the president of the aggressor country of russia, vladimir putin, which will be held today, August 15, in the city of Anchorage (Alaska), has become known.

According to Reuters, according to the White House press schedule, the talks will begin at 11:00 local time (10:00 pm Kyiv time).

Trump will depart the White House at 6:45 Eastern American time (01:45 pm Kyiv time) on Friday and leave Anchorage at 17:45 local time (04:45 am on Saturday Kyiv time). Return to Washington is scheduled for the morning of August 16.

During the summit, the leaders will discuss the main options for a ceasefire and ending the war in Ukraine.

Meanwhile, Trump plans to announce a package of economic incentives during a personal meeting with russian leader vladimir putin, which will take place on August 15.
