White House names leaders who support Trump's Nobel Peace Prize nomination

The White House has published a list of countries and leaders who support the awarding of the Nobel Peace Prize to US President Donald Trump. This was stated in a message from the official White House X-account on Wednesday, August 13.

The list includes:

  • Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan,
  • Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev
  • Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen,
  • Gabonese President Bris Oligui Nguema,
  • Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu,
  • the government of Pakistan,
  • Rwandan Foreign Minister Olivier Nduhungirehe.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on July 8, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu officially nominated US President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize.

On June 24, Representative Buddy Carter, a Republican from Georgia, nominated Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize for the Iran-Israel ceasefire agreement.

On June 21, the Pakistani government announced its decision to nominate US President Donald Trump for the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize.

On March 4, US Republican Representative Darrell Issa announced that he would nominate US President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize.

At the same time, on June 24, the chairman of the Ukrainian parliamentary committee on foreign affairs, Oleksandr Merezhko, withdrew his nomination of Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize.
