The penetration of small groups of soldiers of the russian occupation army through the first line of defense in the Dobropillia district is not taking control of the territories, as a number of resources claim.
Thus, the Dnipro operational-strategic group (formerly Khortytsia) commented on the reports of DeepState analysts about the advancement of the russians in the Dobropillia district.
According to the military, the occupiers are constantly changing the tactics of using their forces and using numerical superiority in order to infiltrate the first line of defense.
"The infiltration of such groups, although it necessitates the involvement of reserves to destroy them, is not taking control of the territory," stated the Dnipro Operational and Strategic Troops Group.
It is emphasized that misunderstanding of the above has repeatedly led to mistakes in public discussions of the situation in the Pokrovsk and Dobropillia districts.
The Dnipro Operational and Strategic Troops Group added that the situation on this section of the front certainly remains difficult, since the intensity of fighting here is the highest compared to other areas. Despite this, the Ukrainian military is making every effort to eliminate groups of russians who manage to infiltrate.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on August 11, the Ukrainian DeepState project stated that the russians have advanced near three settlements in the Donetsk Region.
At the same time, analysts claim that in the Dobropillia area, the russians managed to advance 10 kilometers and get close to a new line of defense.
As we will recall, it was previously reported that in early August, 150 soldiers of the russian army, as part of three sabotage and reconnaissance groups, tried to infiltrate Pokrovsk, Donetsk Region. Only a fifth of the group managed to penetrate the city.
A video showing the elimination of the occupiers who managed to infiltrate Pokrovsk was published the day before by the 7th Corps of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
