US President Donald Trump announced during a press conference at the White House that the American side will meet with the russian side on Wednesday, August 6. The US will be represented by special envoy Steve Witkoff.
"We have a meeting with Russia tomorrow (August 6 – Ed.). We're going to see what happens," Trump said.
He added that he is working hard to stop the war of the aggressor country russia against Ukraine
"This is Biden's war, and we're working very hard to get us out. stopped five wars in the last five months, actually, and I'd like this to be the sixth, frankly," Trump said.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the deadline that Donald Trump set for a ceasefire between russia and Ukraine expires on August 8. On July 14, he gave vladimir putin 50 days, but last week he shortened the deadline, expressing disappointment in the president of the aggressor country.
Also, according to media reports, the special envoy of the President of the United States of America Donald Trump to Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, is likely to visit Ukraine in the coming days.
