Zelenskyy sets task to ensure Ukraine's ability to use 1,000 interceptor drones per day

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy set a task for manufacturers to ensure Ukraine's ability to use 1,000 interceptor drones per day. Zelenskyy reported this on the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

In particular, he reported that he visited a company producing interceptor drones, saw how they are produced and talked with manufacturers.

"The task set for manufacturers is clear - this is Ukraine's ability to use at least 1,000 interceptors per day at a certain time. Government officials ensure contracting, and we are also constantly working with partners so that there is no funding deficit," he noted.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in June, Zelenskyy announced an increase in the production of drones that can intercept russian Shahed-type strike drones.

In July, the Kyiv City Military Administration announced that the capital was launching a large-scale initiative to counter drone attacks - the Clear Sky project, which involves the use of Ukrainian interceptor drones.
