At Ramstein meeting, Syrskyi listed what Ukraine critically lacks for defense

Ukraine critically lacks weapons to protect against russia n military aggression – air defense systems, missiles, long-range weapons and artillery shells, electronic warfare systems and unmanned systems. The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi announced this at the 29th meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group in the Ramstein format, Interfax reports.

It is reported that Syrskyi called on partners and allies to increase military assistance to Ukraine.

"We must save the lives of our civilians and our soldiers. To do this, I must again call for increased assistance to Ukraine. We still critically lack air defense systems and missiles for them, long-range weapons, artillery shells, armored vehicles, evacuation equipment, electronic warfare systems, radars, unmanned systems and more," he said at the meeting.

He also noted that without the help of partner countries, it would be much more difficult for Ukraine to overcome russian aggression.

"I will be frank, without weapons, financial assistance, training of our defenders, humanitarian projects and our comprehensive support that you provide to Ukraine, it would be a thousand times more difficult for us to overcome Russia's brutal aggression," the Commander-in-Chief noted.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius agreed with Pentagon Chief Pete Hegseth on Germany joining the provision of five Patriot systems to Ukraine at a meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group (Ramstein).

The United States of America has notified Switzerland of a delay in the supply of MIM-104 Patriot air defense systems due to a shift in priority towards Ukraine.
