After receiving information about the searches, the NACB Director decided to immediately interrupt his visit and return to Ukraine.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the SACPO stated that the SSU came to the prosecutor's office with an inspection and received access to data on all special operations of the NACB and SACP. The NACB stated about 70 searches of 15 NACB employees on the basis of alleged cases of road accidents. The SSU and the Prosecutor General's Office are conducting searches at the NACB detectives with ties to the russian federation. As a result, the SSU detained the head of the NACB department, Ruslan Mahamedrasulov, on suspicion of aiding russia.

The Security Service of Ukraine and the Prosecutor General's Office have charged the current MP from the now-banned Opposition Platform – For Life party, Fedir Khrystenko, with high treason. According to the case materials, this MP was a top agent of the russian FSB (resident) and was responsible for increasing russian influence on the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NACB).
