The Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) and the Prosecutor General's Office (PGO) are conducting searches of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NACB) detectives with ties to russia. They are accused of high treason, illegal trade with russia, and other crimes.

According to preliminary information, facts of unofficial influence of russian special services on the NACB detectives have been recorded. In particular, one of the detectives passed secret data to the enemy through Viktor Yanukovych's entourage. As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, one of the favorites in the competition for the position of the director of the Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine, NACB employee Oleksandr Tsyvinskyi, may have close ties to a citizen of the aggressor country, the russian federation - his father.
