The head of the Anti-Corruption Action Centre Vitalii Shabunin will not be taken into custody, but a personal commitment will be requested.
This was reported to the Ukrainian News Agency by sources in the court.
"A personal commitment," the interlocutor commented, speaking about what measure of restraint the investigation will request.
Today, the Pecherskyi District Court plans to choose a measure of restraint for Shabunin. The time of the court hearing is currently unknown.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) served suspicion to the head of the Anti-Corruption Action Centre Vitalii Shabunin. According to the investigation, he evaded military service and used a car that was assigned to the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
On July 11, law enforcement agencies conducted searches in the house and at the place of service of the head of the Anti-Corruption Action Centre Vitalii Shabunin. During the searches, a mobile phone was seized from Shabunin.
Recall, in May of this year, serviceman Volodymyr Boiko accused Shabunin of misappropriating a car that volunteers bought for the 207th Territorial Defense Battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
