The President of the United States of America Donald Trump confirmed that he approved the transfer of defensive weapons to Ukraine because of the actions of russian dictator vladimir putin. It was reported by the Clash Report and Fox News on Tuesday, July 8.
Trump explained during a conversation with reporters why he decided to confirm the sending of weapons to Ukraine.
"Putin is not treating human beings right. So we are sending some defensive weapons to Ukraine. I have approved it," the US President emphasized.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on July 8, the Axios publication stated that US President Donald Trump promised Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to send 10 Patriot interceptor missiles.
On July 8, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stated that the US had temporarily suspended the delivery of some military aid to Ukraine as part of the standard procedure for the Pentagon to review support provided to other countries.
