Russian dictator vladimir putin said during a phone call with US President Donald Trump on July 3 that he is planning a new escalation in eastern Ukraine in the next 60 days to occupy the administrative borders of regions he considers "his own".
This was reported by Axios, citing sources familiar with the details of the conversation.
According to the publication's interlocutor, putin made it clear that he intends to continue offensive actions against Ukraine.
Trump also informed French President Emmanuel Macron that the russian leader will try to completely occupy the territories of Ukrainian regions where russia already has a foothold within the next two months.
According to the source, the US President told Macron that putin "wants to take it all away".
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on June 30, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the occupiers failed to implement their offensive plan in the Sumy Region.
On July 2, the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council, Andrii Kovalenko, stated that the war of the aggressor country of russia against Ukraine will continue this year and will continue next year.
At the same time, the daily losses of the army of the aggressor country of russia during the ongoing summer offensive campaign exceeded the losses suffered by the russians in the battles for Bakhmut and Avdiivka in the Donetsk Region.
