Two civilians were killed in the border area of the Sumy Region as a result of a UAV strike launched by the army of the aggressor country, russia.
The head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleh Hryhorov, reported this today, July 7.
According to him, today the bodies of two people were found in one of the settlements of the Khotyn territorial community. Preliminarily, they were men aged 48 and 60.
They received fatal injuries as a result of an attack by an occupiers' strike UAV.
Hryhorov did not specify in which settlement the incident occurred.
The Khotin community is located in the north of the Sumy Region and borders the state border. The russian army is conducting offensive operations on the territory of the community.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, today, July 7, the Sumy Regional Military Administration stated that the occupiers are purposefully striking at critical infrastructure facilities in the region.
Recall, on July 3, the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine stated that the russians' plans in the Sumy Region had been thwarted. The threat to Sumy now comes from missile strikes and UAV attacks.
