Polish President Andrzej Duda arrives in Ukraine for Constitution Day

On the morning of June 28, the current President of Poland Andrzej Duda arrived in Kyiv.

Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha reported this on X.

The Polish President was met by a Ukrainian delegation at the Central Railway Station.

"I was pleased to greet Ukraine's true friend, Andrzej Duda, at Kyiv Central Station this morning. President Duda has stood by Ukraine's side during the most difficult times of Russia's full-scale aggression. We are grateful to him and all Poles who have shown true solidarity with Ukraine. Our guest will celebrate Ukraine's Constitution Day with us and meet with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy," Sybiha said.

It is reported that the Polish President will celebrate Constitution Day with Ukrainians and meet with Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

It was also previously reported that Polish leader Duda promised to visit Ukraine for the last time in early June before the end of his term.

Karol Nawrocki, a candidate from the Law and Justice party, won the second round of the presidential election in Poland, gaining 50.89% of the vote.

Zelenskyy congratulated Nawrocki on his victory in the election and noted that he expects continued fruitful cooperation with Poland and personally with the newly elected president.
