Duda will visit Ukraine for the last time as Polish President

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Polish President Andrzej Duda in Vilnius (Lithuania) at the Bucharest Nine summit. The Polish leader promised to visit Ukraine for the last time before the end of his term. This is stated in a message on the President's website.

Andrzej Duda assured his support for Ukraine's membership in the EU and NATO.

"You have been our friend from the very beginning, even before the start of a full-scale war. Thank you for being able to count on our friendship. Thanks to the Polish people for your support," Zelenskyy said.

It is reported that the Presidents discussed bilateral relations, diplomatic work and russian aggression in detail. The leaders have the same position: it is important to increase joint pressure on the russian federation by the United States, Europe and other countries of the world and continue to search for solutions that will help stop it.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Karol Nawrocki, a candidate from the Law and Justice party, won the second round of the presidential election in Poland, gaining 50.89% of the vote.

Zelenskyy congratulated Nawrocki on his victory in the election and noted that he expects continued fruitful cooperation with Poland and personally with the newly elected President.
