Trump calls his promise to end war in Ukraine in 24 hours "sarcastic"

US President Donald Trump called his promise to end the war in Ukraine and reach a peace agreement in 24 hours "sarcastic". He announced this during a briefing on the sidelines of the NATO summit in The Hague.

So, during a conversation with journalists, representatives of the press asked whether his promise to end the russian-Ukrainian war was sarcastic.

"Of course, it was sarcastic," Trump said.

Also, media workers asked him why, after more than 5 months in office, the US president was unable to fulfill his campaign promise to end the war in Ukraine. Donald Trump replied that this war is more difficult than any other.
