At night, russia attacked Kyiv with drones with shrapnel - Air Force

On the night of June 10, russia attacked Kyiv with strike drones with shrapnel to hit the longest distance possible. This was reported on the air of the telethon by the head of the communications department of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yurii Ihnat.

Thus, Ihnat reported that with their warhead, such elements pose a mortal threat to people's lives.

"The warhead of both the missile and the Shahed can have different equipment. It can be thermobaric or high-explosive fragmentation ammunition, as well as shrapnel. Shrapnel is used to hit the longest distances possible and not only equipment, cars, but also people," he said.

The spokesman also reported that due to the characteristics of shrapnel drones, it is strictly forbidden to be near windows or in open areas of the street during air attacks - the fragments fly over considerable distances and can be fatal for those who have not taken refuge in a safe place.
