Four people were injured in a massive nighttime attack by russian drones on Kyiv, all of whom were hospitalized. This was reported by the mayor of the capital, Vitali Klitschko.
According to the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko, damage was recorded in seven districts of the city: “During the night, the enemy continuously attacked the capital with kamikaze drones, targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure. In several districts, fires broke out, residential buildings were partially destroyed, and cars and warehouses were damaged.”
The Desnianskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, Podilskyi, Darnytskyi, Obolonskyi, Holosiyivskyi and Solomyanskyi districts suffered the most damage. In particular, a business center was destroyed in the Holosiyivskyi, warehouses caught fire in the Obolonskyi district, and in the Solomyanskyi district, drone debris hit the roof of a high-rise building.
“It will take time to eliminate the consequences,” Tkachenko noted.
Due to the damage, public transport in the city has been partially changed. Kyivpastrans Public Transport Company warned of the closure of Yuriya Ilyenko Street in the direction of the Lukyanivska metro station and changes to the route on Hlybochytska Street.
