Air defense neutralizes 284 air attack vehicles during night attack of RF

On the night of Tuesday, June 10, russian troops launched 322 air attack vehicles over the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces managed to neutralize 284 of them: 220 were shot down by fire weapons, 64 were lost/suppressed by electronic warfare means.

This was announced by the press service of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

It is noted that on the night of Tuesday, June 10 (from 08:00 pm on June 9), the enemy attacked Ukraine with 322 air attack vehicles:

- 315 Shahed strike UAVs and simulator drones of various types from the directions: Kursk, Shatalovo, Oryol, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk - russian federation;

- 2 KN-23 ballistic missiles from the Voronezh Oblast - the russian federation;

- 5 Iskander-K cruise missiles from the Kursk Oblast - the russian federation.

The main strike was directed at the capital of Ukraine, the city of Kyiv.

"According to preliminary data, as of 9:00 am, air defense neutralized 284 enemy air attack vehicles: 220 were shot down by fire, 64 were lost by location," the Air Force said in a statement.

In particular, it is reported that the following were neutralized:

- 213 enemy Shahed UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles of other types) were shot down by fire, 64 were lost by location/suppressed by electronic warfare;

- 2 KN-23 ballistic missiles;

- 5 Iskander-K cruise missiles.

According to preliminary data, as of 10:30 am, air defenses neutralized 479 enemy air attack vehicles, 292 were shot down by fire, 187 were lost in location," the report says.

In particular, it is reported that the following were neutralized:

- 277 enemy Shahed UAVs (other types of UAVs) were shot down by fire, 183 were lost by location/suppressed by electronic warfare;

- 10 Kh-101 cruise missiles;

- 4 Kh-47 M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles;

- 2 Kh-22 cruise missiles - did not reach their targets (lost in location);

- 2 Kh-31P anti-radar missiles;

- 1 Kh-35 cruise missile.

- Enemy air attack vehicles were hit in 11 locations, the fall downed (fragments) in 16 locations.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, four people were injured in a massive nighttime attack by russian drones on Kyiv, all of whom were hospitalized.

Russian troops also struck Odesa with suicide drones. One of the drones hit a maternity hospital.
