Injured teenager dies in hospital: number of victims of shelling of Sumy on June 3 rises to six

A 17-year-old boy who was seriously injured during the russian shelling of Sumy on June 3 died in hospital.

This was reported by the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleh Hryhorov, in Telegram.

"A 17-year-old boy who was injured as a result of enemy shelling of Sumy on June 3 died in the hospital. Doctors fought for his life for almost a week," he noted.

Thus, the number of people killed in that attack has increased to six.

Recall that on June 3, russian troops struck the central part of Sumy with a long-range multiple rocket launcher system. Initially, three people were reported killed and 25 wounded. Later, the number of victims increased to five, and now to six.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the shelling of Sumy demonstrates russia's "desire" to end the war.

In addition, russian propaganda is trying to justify the shelling of Sumy by "liquidating officers" and "air defense work."
