Medinsky said that the russian delegation included "representatives and senior staff of all interested departments."
"Russia is ready to resume the negotiation process with Ukraine in Istanbul and possible "compromises," the head of the russian delegation said.
According to him, the russian delegation maintains a "working mood" ahead of the negotiations.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on May 14, the russian side announced that russian dictator putin had approved the composition of the delegation for negotiations with Ukraine, headed by his aide Vladimir Medinsky.
On May 15, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called the delegation approved by putin for negotiations with Ukraine "a sham."
On May 15, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry stressed that instead of real dialogue, Moscow chooses personal insults, and that it is not the first time that the russian foreign ministry "has become a laughing stock."
