The aggressor country of russia allegedly immediately supported the idea of establishing a 30-day ceasefire. But in order to agree to this proposal, Moscow needs answers to "a huge number of nuances."
The corresponding statement was made by the press secretary of the russian dictator, Dmitry Peskov, his words are quoted by the propaganda agency RIA Novosti.
According to him, the issue of a 30-day ceasefire "has long been throwing-in by the Ukrainian side." Peskov thereby confirmed that Ukraine has repeatedly proposed an appropriate ceasefire and declared its readiness to adhere to it.
"As soon as it was voiced by the Trump administration, it was supported by president putin with the caveat that there are a huge number of nuances surrounding the idea of a ceasefire, without finding answers to which, it is very difficult to speak objectively," said the press secretary of the russian dictator.
Recall `that on April 28, dictator vladimir putin announced that the russian army was declaring a three-day ceasefire and would not engage in combat operations against Ukraine from 00:00 on May 8 to 00:00 on May 11.
This is the second temporary ceasefire that the aggressor country has declared since the beginning of the year. The first lasted from April 19 to 21 and was timed to coincide with Easter. During these three days, russian troops did not stop attacks and shelling.
In response to the "May truce," Ukraine proposed not to wait for May 8 and to cease fire on the front for at least 30 days. However, on April 29, the Kremlin announced that a ceasefire for such a period is possible only after resolving "nuances."
On Wednesday, May 7, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the proposal to cease strikes for a period of 30 days remains in force.
We also wrote that shortly before this, the US Department of State stated that now it was russia's turn to demonstrate a desire for peace, since Ukraine had proposed and continues to propose a ceasefire.
