The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine updated information on the losses of the army of the aggressor country, russia. The summary includes information about two aircraft, the destruction of which became known the day before.

According to the General Staff, over the past day the invaders lost approximately 1,340 more people killed and wounded. The total losses of the russian army in manpower amounted to almost 957,000 people.

Also, during the day, the russians lost 383 units of equipment, including two aircraft.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on Saturday, May 3, the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine stated that as a result of the attack by the Ukrainian Defense Forces on the russian port of Novorossiysk in the Black Sea, the invaders lost a Su-30 fighter.

In the evening of that day, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that as a result of the actions of the Ukrainian military in the Black Sea, the invaders lost two aircraft.

Recall that in February 2025, in the area of Toretsk of ​​the Donetsk Region, the Ukrainian military shot down an invaders' Su-25 attack aircraft.
