The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and foreign diplomatic missions of Ukraine around the world will lower national flags as a sign of mourning due to the massive russian strike on Kyiv on April 24. This was reported on the MFA's Facebook page.
"On Friday, April 25, the MFA and foreign diplomatic missions of Ukraine around the world will lower national flags as a sign of mourning for the victims of the missile strike on Kyiv on April 24. We express our condolences to their families and loved ones," the MFA said in a statement.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the death toll from the missile attack on Kyiv has increased to 12.
On the night of April 24, the russian occupiers carried out a combined strike on Ukraine with various types of air-, land- and sea-based missiles, as well as Shahed strike UAVs and other types of simulator drones. The main target of the strike was the city of Kyiv. The Air Force’s radio-technical troops detected and tracked 215 enemy air targets.
At 03:22 pm, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine announced that the number of casualties from the russian attack on Kyiv had increased to 90.
In connection with the russian strike, which resulted in a large number of deaths and injuries, the capital’s authorities declared April 25 a day of mourning.
