Death toll from missile attack on Kyiv rises to 12

The death toll from the russian occupation army's missile attack in Kyiv has risen again. Two more bodies were found under the rubble of a residential high-rise building.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SESU).

As of 05:30 pm on April 24, the death toll was 12. Over the past hour, rescuers have discovered and unblocked two bodies from under the rubble.

The State Emergency Service added that emergency and rescue operations at the site of the missile strike are ongoing.

As a reminder, as of 04:45 pm on April 24, rescuers discovered the bodies of two killed, including a 27-year-old woman.

At 03:22 pm, the Ministry of Internal Affairs stated that 90 people were injured and traumatized as a result of the missile strike on Kyiv.

Kyiv was subjected to massive shelling on the night of April 23-24, when the occupiers carried out a massive combined attack on Ukraine. The enemy used more than 200 airstrike targets, including missiles of various types and drones.

As it became known later, the missile strike killed a brother and sister, the children of Yaroslav Kozlov, a neurologist at the Taras Shevchenko University Clinic of Kyiv National University.
