On the night of April 24, russia launched a massive combined strike on Ukraine with cruise and ballistic missiles, as well as strike drones, in particular, the railway infrastructure was under fire. This was reported by Ukrzaliznytsia.
As a result of the combined attack, two railway workers were injured: a conductor in Zhytomyr and a train driver in Kyiv. The condition of both workers is satisfactory, they are being examined by doctors.
Also in the city of Kyiv and the Kharkiv Region, the technical track and administrative and technical buildings of the railway were damaged as a result of the shelling.
Trains continue to run according to the schedule.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, russian troops attacked Kyiv with missiles and drones, there are killed and wounded people in the city.
In a house destroyed by the russian strike in the Sviatoshynskyi district of Kyiv, telephone calls can be heard under the rubble. A rescue operation is underway, with search teams looking for two children in particular.
