China sending troops to Ukraine to prepare for invasion of Taiwan – The Hill

China is sending troops to fight on the side of an aggressor country against Ukraine to prepare for an invasion of Taiwan and possible future wars. The Hill reported this on Friday, April 18, citing experts.

The Chinese Communist Party wants its soldiers to gain real-world battlefield experience in Ukraine, said Richard Fisher of the Washington, D.C. area-based International Assessment and Strategy Center. According to him, this way the Chinese military can see for themselves the impact of drones and electronic warfare systems on combat operations.

"If the PLA (People's Liberation Army of China – Ed.) can grasp and expand on the lessons of the Ukraine battlefield, it can vastly increase its chances of a rapid blitzkrieg victory in Taiwan," Fisher noted.

Charles Burton of the Sinopsis think tank believes that the Chinese military would not have been allowed to travel to russia without the full consent of the Chinese leadership.

"Xi runs a near-total surveillance state and pays special attention to the interactions of its nationals with close partners such as Russia. A couple hundred military-age Chinese men leaving the country to fight in a foreign war is certainly something Beijing would know about," Burton stressed.

Agents of the Ministry of State Security will definitely monitor visa applications for russia, the expert explained.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on April 17, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine has information that China is supplying artillery and gunpowder to the aggressor country, russia.

On April 9, President Zelenskyy said that Ukraine is aware of at least 155 Chinese citizens who are participating in hostilities on the side of the russian federation.

Recall that on April 8, it became known that in the Donetsk Region, Ukrainian military captured two Chinese citizens who fought in the russian army.
