As RBC-Ukraine writes, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated this yesterday, April 9.
He called the issue of the participation of Chinese citizens in the war against Ukraine on the side of the russian occupiers serious.
"There are 155 people with surnames, with passport data, 155 Chinese citizens fighting against Ukrainians on the territory of Ukraine. We are collecting information, we believe that there are many more of them," said Zelenskyy.
According to him, Ukraine knows the data of these Chinese citizens. Their passport data, age and where they come from are known.
In addition, Ukrainian special services found out that the Chinese serve in the 70th, 71st and 225th motorized rifle regiments of the russian army.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on April 8, President Zelenskyy said that the servicemen of the Defense Forces of Ukraine had taken two Chinese citizens prisoner. This happened on one of the eastern sectors of the front.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine summoned the charge d'affaires of China. He was condemned for the fact that Chinese citizens participated in the war against Ukraine.
And on April 9, the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PRC, Lin Jian, stated that Beijing did not send its servicemen to participate in the war.
