Over month since Ukraine agreed to ceasefire, russia has fired 70 missiles, 2,200 Shaheds and 6,000 KABs – Sybiha

A month has passed since russia refused to accept the US proposal for a complete ceasefire, while Ukraine unconditionally agreed to such a proposal; during this time, russia has fired 70 missiles, 2,200 strike drones and 6,000 guided aerial bombs at Ukraine.

Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha announced this on X, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

"Today marks exactly a month since Russia refused to accept the full temporary ceasefire proposed by the United States. Exactly a month ago, on March 11 in Jeddah, Ukraine agreed to such an offer. Absolutely. At the same time, Russia continued to intensify terror against the civilian population. From March 11 to April 11, Russia launched almost 70 missiles of various types, more than 2,200 Shahed drones and more than 6,000 guided aerial bombs at Ukraine. This was Russia's response to peace proposals," he said.

Sybiha stressed that russia is the only obstacle to peace and the only source of war.

He called on partners not to delay increasing pressure on moscow, because russia must feel real strength in order to take peace seriously.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on March 11, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, following a meeting with the American team in Saudi Arabia, stated that Ukraine accepts the US proposal to establish a complete ceasefire.
