A Chinese citizen who was captured by the Ukrainian Defense Forces paid RUB 300,000 to join the army of the aggressor country, russia, to participate in the war.

The Chinese prisoner said that he joined the russian army by paying an intermediary RUB 300,000. The motivation for sending to war in Ukraine was to get russian citizenship.
According to him, he was trained in the occupied territory of the Luhansk Region. Other Chinese citizens were there with him.
The prisoner said that the training included basic military skills. Moreover, throughout the training, the Chinese and russians had to communicate using gestures or using an interpreter on the phone.
The Chinese citizen was captured after the group he was in came under fire from Ukrainian soldiers. After that, the decision was made to surrender.
Recall, on April 8, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that the Ukrainian Defense Forces had captured two Chinese citizens. This happened on one of the eastern sectors of the front.

And today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China stated that Beijing did not send its soldiers to participate in the war against Ukraine.
