The Ministry of Defense has codified and approved the operation of the Ukrainian-made D-21-12R ground robotic complex in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Defense, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
It is noted that the ground robotic complex is equipped with a large-caliber machine gun.
It can perform a wide range of tasks in surveillance, patrolling, fire support of units, defeating manpower and lightly armored enemy vehicles, etc.
The complex has high cross-country ability over off-road, swamps and shallow water obstacles.
The operator controls the actions of the ground robotic complex while being in a protected shelter at a considerable distance.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in March, the Ministry of Defense codified and approved for use in the Armed Forces of Ukraine the domestically produced 40 mm AGL-53 automatic grenade launcher and the domestically produced "Bird of Prey" unmanned aerial vehicle complex.
