Invaders tried to break through AFU defense in Vovchansk area, attempts repelled - Kharkiv OSTG

Seven attempts by the russian invaders to break through the defense lines of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Vovchansk area were successfully repelled, the operational situation in the Kharkiv Axis has not undergone significant changes and remains difficult. This is reported by the press center of the Kharkiv Operational and Strategic Troops Group (OSTG).

Over the past day, the russian invaders carried out an air strike using 2 guided aerial bombs, used 70 kamikaze drones, and also carried out 464 attacks on the positions of the defenders of Ukraine.

The Defense Forces continue to destroy the manpower, weapons and military equipment of the russian invaders. Thus, over the past day, the enemy lost 51 people in the Kharkiv Axis, 21 of whom were irretrievable. The invaders also lost 34 units of weapons and military equipment destroyed or damaged, including:

• 7 vehicles;
• 3 units of special equipment;
• 24 UAVs.

Destroyed:

• 67 shelters for personnel;
• ammunition storage area.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in the Kharkiv Axis, the main target of the occupiers is Vovchansk, the russian troops conduct assault operations every day and do not abandon attempts to push the Defense Forces out of the city.

The russian occupiers are trying to expand their bridgehead on the right bank of the Oskil River in the Kamyanka area. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are taking measures to prevent the enemy from achieving success.
