This was reported on the air of Kyiv24 by the spokesman of the Kharkiv Operational and Strategic Troops Group (OSTG), Pavlo Shamshyn.
"The enemy is trying to be active in the Vovchansk area almost every day. Currently, the defense line in the city runs along the Vovcha River. The russians are also active in the surrounding settlements, which are very important for the defense of the city. As for the storming of the Vovcha River, no such attempts are currently recorded," the military officer noted.
The Defense Forces are taking all necessary measures to prevent the advance of the occupiers. The enemy has not had any successes in this Axis.
"Another point of tension is Dvorichna. There, the russians continue to attempt to transfer their infantry units to the right bank of the Oskil River. The Defense Forces are doing everything in their power to destroy enemy infantry groups and prevent their further advance," Shamshyn said.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled another assault by the army of the aggressor country, russia, which attempted to attack the positions of the Ukrainian military in the Vovchansk area of the Kharkiv Region.
The russian occupiers are trying to expand their bridgehead on the right bank of the Oskil River in the Kamyanka area. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are taking measures to prevent the enemy from achieving success.
