Russian occupiers are trying to expand the bridgehead on the right bank of the Oskil River in the area of Kamianka. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are taking measures to prevent the enemy from achieving success.
The Khortytsia Operational-Strategic Group of Forces has reported this.
On the Kupiansk axis, enemy attacks were successfully repelled near Petropavlivka, Kopanky and Zahryzove.
"The enemy does not abandon attempts to infiltrate the battle formations of our troops and is trying to expand the bridgehead on the right bank of the Oskil River in the area of Kamianka," the report says.
The defense forces are taking measures to prevent the movement and consolidation of enemy troops.
Meanwhile, on the Kharkiv axis, over the past day, the enemy attacked positions in Vovchansk. No losses of positions were recorded.
On the Lyman axis, the occupation army attacked near the settlements of Cherneshchyna, Katerynivka, Nove, Torske and Yampolivka. No losses were recorded for Ukrainian positions.
On the Siversk axis, units of the Defense Forces did not allow the deterioration of the tactical situation in the area of Hryhorivka, Bilohorivka and Verkhniokamianske. In order to break through the battle formations on the Siversk axis, the occupiers used armored vehicles. Enemy BMPs, MT-LBs, four motorcycles and buggies were destroyed, and the enemy retreated.
On the Kramatorsk and Toretsk axes, assault actions of varying intensity took place in the areas of Dyliivka, Chasiv Yar, Krymske and Toretsk. All attacks were repelled.
On the Pokrovsk axis, the russian army conducted offensive actions in the area of Yelyzavetivka, Sukhyi Yar, Preobrazhenka, Kotliarivka. The enemy suffered losses, but did not achieve the set goal. The attacks near Lysivka, Vidrodzhennia, Shevchenko, Solone, Udachne, Kotlyne, Uspenivka, Andriivka and Ulakly were also unsuccessful.
On the Novopavlivka axis, the enemy tried to break through the defense of the defenders in the area of Kostiantynopil, Vesele and Rozlyv. The attacks were successfully repelled. Assault actions using armored vehicles – a tank and an infantry fighting vehicle – took place in the direction of Novoocheruvate and Skudne. The defenders inflicted fire damage on the enemy, as a result of which they damaged the tank, and two infantry fighting vehicles returned to the starting area without landing.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in the meantime, the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of the Ukrainian SSR struck the place of concentration of forces of the russian army, destroying the object itself, as well as up to 30 russian occupiers.
